Al is a Certified Public Accountant with RFSW & Co at our Independence location. Al joined the team in 1987.

Al graduated from Upper Iowa University with a BS in Accounting and is a member of Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Al and his wife, Julie, reside in Raymond.


Amanda Coonrad

Amanda is the Business Communications Manager and staff accountant for RFSW & Co. She joined the firm in the summer of 2016. Her primary roles outside of Company Communications is client payroll, bookkeeping, Bank Reconciliation, and Payroll/Sales Tax Liability Reports. Amanda has been a QuickBooks Certified Advisor since 2017 and is also a Public Notary. Amanda began her professional career with bookkeeping and payroll in the early 2000’s and studied Journalism and Accounting at the University of Iowa.

Amanda, her husband Josh, and their youngest daughter, Jersey, reside in rural Independence. They have 2 adult daughters: Jaden and Kylie. Josh and Amanda are the owners of Signs & More, a sign/apparel shop, located in Independence. They also have a very spoiled German Shepard, Sam.

In Amanda’s spare time she enjoys her daughters activities as well as golf and travel. And of course: Iowa Football.


Jessica Cook

Jessica is the Administrative Professional at the Independence location and studied Accounting at the University of Northern Iowa. She joined RFSW in September of 2018.

Jessica was born and raised in Winthrop where she currently lives with her three children Emma, Abby and Aiden. She also runs a baking business, EAAsy Street Treats, out of their home in Winthrop.

When there is any spare time, Jessica enjoys supporting her kids and the Buccaneers at various sporting and fine arts events, cooking and baking, cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones and spending time with family. She is a member of the East Buchanan Fine Arts Boosters Board and has also joined the Independence Chamber Ambassadors since joining RFSW.


Cecily Corkery

Cecily was born and raised in rural Rowley. She attended Independence Community Schools and competed in basketball, soccer, and softball. Cecily attributes her work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and competitive nature to her various coaches.

After graduating high school, she decided to give back to her local basketball community by volunteer coaching an Independence youth girls’ basketball team. After graduating in 2015 from Independence, Cecily went on to Hawkeye Community College and then to the University of Northern Iowa where she majored in accounting as well as finance. She graduated in Cum Laude in December of 2019 and then focused on knocking out her CPA exams before joining the RFSW team.

Cecily likes to spend her free time with family, friends, and her boyfriend at their family cabin on the Wapsipinicon River. She loves all things water and outdoors. Passionate about sports she loves to watch the Cyclones regardless of the event. Cecily cannot wait to return to coaching basketball now that she has finished her CPA courses and exams!
